This Privacy Policy describes how LJ Solutions Services LLC ("Anansel," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and publishing workspace (the "Service").

2. Information we collect
We collect information in these categories:
- Account data: email address, password (stored by our auth provider), and optional profile attributes from Google sign-in.
- Workspace data: pen names, books, uploads, branding, campaigns, newsletters, and configuration you enter.
- Subscriber data: email addresses and optional names collected through your author sites, subscribe widgets, or CSV imports you upload.
- Billing data: subscription status and Stripe customer identifiers (payment card details are handled by Stripe).
- Usage and device data: pages viewed, feature usage, and technical logs via PostHog and server diagnostics.
- Communications: messages you send to support.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Service.
- Process subscriptions and entitlements.
- Send transactional email (account verification, product email you configure for your readers).
- Improve the Service and diagnose errors.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Contract — to provide the Service you request.
- Legitimate interests — security, analytics, product improvement (balanced against your rights).
- Consent — where required for non-essential cookies/analytics.

6. Your subscribers
When you collect subscriber email addresses through author sites or imports, you are typically the controller and Anansel acts as a processor handling that data to provide email and list management. You are responsible for lawful collection, privacy notices to subscribers, and honoring unsubscribe requests.

7. Retention
We retain account and workspace data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backup, legal, and security purposes. You may request deletion subject to legal exceptions.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. California residents may have additional rights under the CPRA.

9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Publishers must not collect children's data through the Service without appropriate consent.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where required.
